Authorities are investigating an assault on a minor that occurred on May 24 in O Burgo, Culleredo. The incident, which involves two minors, gained widespread attention after a video of the attack went viral on social media.
The footage shows a young girl insulting and physically attacking another girl, forcing her to her knees before striking her in the head and face. While witnesses in the video can be heard calling for the violence to stop, no one intervened to separate the individuals.
Local police and the Guardia Civil identified the aggressor and other witnesses at the scene on the day of the incident. The case has been judicialized and is currently being handled by the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office. The Culleredo City Council has requested caution in discussing the matter due to the involvement of minors.
