Cultura Inglesa Festival 2026 to host multicultural events in São Paulo

The 29th edition of the Cultura Inglesa Festival will take place in São Paulo from October 21 to 31, 2026. The multicultural event aims to connect Brazilian artistic expression with United Kingdom influences through a variety of free or low-cost activities.

Key highlights include a performance by Agnes Nunes at Casa Natura Musical and the British production ‘Famehungry’ at Sesc 24 de Maio, which integrates TikTok Live into its performance to explore the impact of social media and the pursuit of fame. Other scheduled events include the ‘Slam do Corpo’ poetry battle at the MASP open area, featuring both deaf and hearing poets, and an outdoor screening of ‘Back to the Future’ at the Cinemateca Brasileira.

The festival also features discussions at the Centro Brasileiro Britânico regarding mental health and the climate crisis, as well as community workshops in Paraisópolis.
