Cultural and artisanal festivals announced in León, Spain

Several cultural and artisanal events are scheduled in the León region of Spain.

In Santa Colomba de Somoza, the eighth edition of the ‘Patios con Arte’ artisan fair will take place from August 28 to 30. Organized by the City Council in collaboration with Turismo Maragatería, the event will feature over 70 artisans and open traditional Maragato courtyards to the public. The fair will include workshops, craft demonstrations, and musical performances, with a special tribute to students from the Cosamai occupational center.

Additionally, San Pedro Bercianos will host the fourth edition of the Suco Art and Culture Festival from September 11 to 13. The festival aims to blend traditional and modern disciplines through various workshops, including ceramics, sculpture, and muralism. This year’s edition includes collaborations with ‘El Páramo lee’ for literary activities and participation from the Sindicato de Artistas de León.
