Cultural and charity events held in Poland

Various cultural events have taken place in Poland, focusing on musical tributes and charitable causes. In Stare Bogaczowice, a charity concert featuring the group Scena pod Regałem is scheduled for November 6, 2026. The performance will honor the works of Zbigniew Wodecki as part of a new series titled ‘Greatest Polish Artists on Independence Day.’ Proceeds from the event will support Milena Widlak, a local resident requiring funds for rehabilitation following an accident.

In Niepołomice, poet and musician Leszek Wójtowicz performed a concert at the Małopolskie Centrum Dźwięku i Słowa to commemorate the ninth anniversary of Piotr Szczęsny’s death. The event included readings of the ‘Szary Człowiek’ letter, a protest against the violation of democratic rule of law. The evening was attended by local government officials and representatives from various civic organizations, including the Solidarity Network in Krakow and the Committee for the Defense of Democracy Małopolska.
