Cultural and community events scheduled across British Columbia

The Thompson-Nicola Regional Library has announced a series of autumn programs, including participation in BC Culture Days from September 18 to October 4. The library will also observe Climate Action Week from November 1 to 7, featuring programs focused on sustainability and community resilience. Additionally, October marks Canadian Library Month, highlighted by the launch of ‘For the Love of Libraries,’ a book by Andrew Yarmie celebrating 50 years of library service in the Thompson-Nicola Regional District.

In Vancouver, Chupito Cocteleria will host a one-night-only ‘Los Siete Misterios Exploration Dinner’ on September 9. The event features a four-course menu by chef Maria Ponce paired with four mezcal expressions from Los Siete Misterios. The evening will be led by Karina Mair, the brand’s lead advisor for Canada, and will include cocktails prepared by Tara Davies and Erick Vazquez.
