Cultural and community events scheduled in Greece

Various cultural and community events are scheduled in Greece. In Thessaloniki, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall will host a chamber music performance on September 28. The program features Duo Matschke, consisting of Danae Papamattheou-Matschke and Uwe Matschke, performing alongside the Benedetto Croce String Quintet. The repertoire includes Mendelssohn’s Double Concerto for Violin and Piano and Dvořák’s String Quintet No. 2.

In Patras, the 2nd music street festival, titled ‘Thank You Donor’, will take place on September 22. Organized by the Bone Marrow Donor Volunteer Center (KEDMOP) ‘Charise Zoi’ and the Parents' Association of Children with Neoplastic Disease ‘FLOGA’, the event aims to raise awareness for bone marrow donation. The festival will feature student bands and local performers to encourage citizens to register as potential donors.
