Cultural and community festivals scheduled in Veneto

Various cultural and community events are scheduled to take place in the Veneto region. In Piazzola sul Brenta, the 4th Festival of Volunteering and Associations will be held on October 11, 2026, at Piazza Paolo Camerini. The event, organized by the City of Piazzola sul Brenta and the Volunteer Service Center of Padua and Rovigo, features workshops, community projects, and a collective message for peace. Preceding activities include an online meeting regarding foster care on October 7 and a solidarity dinner on October 8.

In Fiesso d’Artico, the 21st edition of the Palio del Ruzante will take place on September 27, 2026, at Villa Contarini. This traditional event commemorates the historical transport of goods along the Brenta river. Participants will compete in a time trial by manually towing a ‘Burcio’—a traditional transport boat—along the Naviglio. The celebration includes historical reenactments with 16th-century costumes, traditional cuisine, and local crafts.
