Cultural and culinary events held in Calabria

Various cultural and gastronomic events recently took place in the Calabria region of Italy, highlighting local traditions and community engagement.

In Torre di Ruggiero, the 'Festa del Cuoco' organized by the Associazione Provinciale Cuochi Catanzaresi drew over 300 participants. The event involved four hotel institutes, 70 primary school students, and numerous local businesses. Led by Chef Domenico Origlia, the manifestation aimed to strengthen ties between catering professionals, educational institutions, and local producers.

In the Rende and Cosenza areas, the 'Cavaliere Identitario' event was held, featuring a three-day program of culture and tradition. Hosted by the Museo Civico di Rende and the Salone degli Stemmi della Provincia, the event included the exhibition ‘Il Cibo nell’Arte’ and honored seven individuals as 'Cavalieri Identitari' for their commitment to preserving local cultural roots. The program also featured gastronomic paths showcasing regional products from various municipalities.
