Cultural and educational initiatives announced in Poland

Various cultural and educational initiatives are being launched in Poland. In Wrocław, Primary School No. 28 is organizing a reading competition for students in grades 6-8. The contest aims to develop reading comprehension and promote literature that fosters respect and positive behavior. Participants must read a selection of seven specified books by February 23, 2027, before school eliminations and a final held on March 9, 2027.

In Kraków, Teatr KTO has issued an open call for dance pedagogues to lead ‘Dance in the Family’ workshops. Part of the ‘Artistic Spaces – Dance’ program funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance, these improvisation-based workshops are designed to strengthen family bonds through movement. Applications are due by September 22, 2026.
