Cultural and educational initiatives highlighted in Ermenek and Kayseri

In Kayseri, Melikgazi Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu and AK Party MP Ayşe Böhürler met with students at the Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. The Mayor highlighted the school's second year, noting its English preparatory program and support for students participating in TEKNOFEST and visits to companies like TUSAŞ and ASELSAN. Additionally, efforts are underway to launch Turkey's first national cube meteorological satellite in collaboration with Erciyes University's Astronomy Department.

In Ermenek, the Ahmet Keleşoğlu Archaeology and Ethnography Museum has opened to the public through the efforts of the Ahmet and Nezahat Keleşoğlu Foundation. The museum displays approximately 2,000 artifacts recovered from archaeological excavations in the ancient cities of Eirenopolis, Sbide, and Philadelphia, alongside regional ethnographic items. The facility utilizes interactive screens and video mapping to present the area's history.

The foundation also supports the Ahmet Keleşoğlu Library at Necmettin Erbakan University. Spanning 16,600 square meters, it is the largest university library in the region and features specialized services, including Turkey's first university library to offer parent and child support services.
