Cultural and educational programs launch in Agrinio and Ioannina

Several cultural and educational programs are launching for the 2026–2027 period in Greece.

The Agios Eugenios Aitolos Culture Foundation of the Holy Metropolis of Aitolia and Akarnania, alongside the Manuel Panselinos School of Byzantine Hagiography, will hold an official opening ceremony on October 3, 2026, in Agrinio. The program aims to promote education, arts, and the preservation of Orthodox iconographic traditions through organized teaching processes for students.

In Ioannina, the Municipal Regional Theatre (DIPETHE) has announced registration for its theatre workshops. The upcoming season, themed ‘All the Shakespeare a Stage’, will offer training in acting, dance, movement, voice, and music. The workshops are designed for diverse groups, including adults, children, seniors, people with disabilities, and refugee communities.
