Cultural and family events scheduled in Mar de Ajó and Piedras Negras

Various cultural and educational activities are scheduled for August in Mar de Ajó, Argentina, and Piedras Negras, Mexico.

In Mar de Ajó, the Museo y Archivo Histórico will host “Pequeños Científicos” on August 15. This event is designed to introduce children to paleontology through observation, experimentation, and play. Participants will have the opportunity to use microscopes, view samples, and learn about dinosaur fossils and prehistoric life.

Piedras Negras will host the second edition of the “Por mi raza car show” on August 15 at Paseo del Río. The 13-hour event will feature classic and modified cars from northern Coahuila and southern Texas, alongside live music, food, and mechanical games. Additionally, the Museo de la Frontera Norte is hosting a summer camp for children aged 7 to 12 from August 11 to 21, offering free activities such as storytelling, cinema, and painting to explore border history and culture.
