Cultural and gastronomic events announced in Spain

Several cultural and regional initiatives have been announced across Spain. In Granada, the Castillo de La Calahorra has been named a ‘Monumento Mágico de España 2026’ (Magic Monument of Spain 2026). The distinction was presented to Francis Rodríguez, President of the Diputación de Granada, during the VI National Meeting of Magic Towns in Padrón. The award recognizes the historical and patrimonial value of the castle and aims to promote tourism and economic development in the region.

In Castellón, Melchor Zapata has been awarded the ‘Mèrit de les Arts’ by the Diputación de Castellón. This honor, presented during the Official Day of the Province of Castelló, recognizes significant contributions to the province's artistic and cultural landscape.

Additionally, the Diputación de Castellón has launched the fifth edition of ‘Otoño Gastronómico Castelló Ruta de Sabor’. Running from October 22 to November 22, 2026, the event invites the public to participate in various gastronomic experiences and vote online for their favorites through an official web platform.
