Regional festivals and cultural events held across France
Various regional festivals and cultural events are taking place across France during late August 2026.
Mondrepuis is hosting a four-day communal celebration featuring pétanque, music, and a fireworks display at the abbey site. In Crépy-en-Valois, the 28th Fête des Cochons offers a medieval immersion at Parc Sainte-Agathe, including traditional crafts and a pig-calling contest. Saint-Avold is welcoming a traveling fairground at Place du Marché.
In Grand-Bornand, the Au Bonheur des Mômes festival presents performing arts for young audiences, including circus and theater. Questembert is hosting the seventh edition of L’Inopiné Festival, bringing street theater and dance directly into the town center. Additionally, the village of Trévron and Brusvily will hold a traditional mussel festival featuring a large-scale communal meal and eating contests.
Other notable cultural activities include the Salon de l’Aquarelle in Montgermont, scheduled for May 2027, and a major musical performance by Patrick Fiori at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille, celebrating Corsican musical heritage.
