Cultural and literary events scheduled in Olbia and Sila

Various cultural and literary events are taking place in Italy. In Olbia, author Maurizio de Giovanni will present his new novel, ‘Il tempo dell’orologiaio’, as part of the ‘Sul filo del discorso’ series. The novel explores the ‘Years of Lead’ in Italian history through the story of a former militant and the long-term consequences of political violence on subsequent generations.

In Camigliatello Silano, the ‘Parole in Sila’ literary festival will host a discussion titled ‘Can artificial intelligence remain human?’. The event features Alberto Cisterna, a prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, and Don Ennio Stamile. The dialogue will address the ethical, legal, and social implications of AI, focusing on human dignity, fundamental rights, and the limits of automated decision-making.
