Cultural and musical events announced in Italy

The Teatro Tex in San Vito dei Normanni will host InOrbita 2026 from November 3 to 7. This third edition of the World Music Academy’s research and experimentation residency focuses on the Italian frame drum. The program includes workshops, masterclasses, and evening performances featuring artists such as Peppe Leone, Nuhara, Luca Rossi, Trevize, Xabier Díaz, Daràss, and Ashèblasta. The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture’s Fondo Unico per lo Spettacolo and the Municipality of San Vito dei Normanni.

In Emilia-Romagna, the Disarmo Sonoro musical contest has launched, targeting artists aged 16 to 35. The initiative uses music as a tool for peace and dialogue. Participants must present repertoire that includes at least one song dedicated to the theme of peace. Following a selection evening at Spazio Eco, the final will take place on December 20 at the Laura Betti municipal theater in Casalecchio. The project is a collaboration between local administration, the Laura Betti theater, and several associations, with support from the Emilia-Romagna Region.
