Cultural and musical events held in Minas Gerais

Various cultural and musical activities are taking place in the Minas Gerais region. In Heliodora, Douglas Danilo, a choreographer from Colégio Municipal Dr José Vargas de Souza, conducted a workshop for the Nova Era Municipal Fanfare. The training focused on technical aspects such as marching, alignment, and positioning to prepare the group for its first in-person competition.

In Poços de Caldas, the group Choro no Varal will perform two free instrumental music presentations at the Historical and Geographical Museum. The trio, featuring Letícia Ferreira, Guilherme Reche, and Daniel Ribeiro, will perform a repertoire of Brazilian choro classics by composers such as Chiquinha Gonzaga and Jacob do Bandolim. The project aims to democratize access to instrumental music and highlight female presence in the genre.
