Regional summer festivals and cultural events across Europe

Various regional summer festivals, markets, and cultural events are scheduled across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands for mid-August 2026.

In Belgium, Marbisoux is hosting its annual kermesse featuring cocktails, a belote competition, and a religious procession. In Knokke, the 51st edition of the Knokke Art Fair is taking place at Hotel La Réserve, showcasing international art dealers.

In the Netherlands, the Brouwersdam will host the Smaak aan Zee & Summer Fair, featuring food trucks and live music. Dongen will feature a free bigband performance by The Royal Swing Bigband, while Utrecht highlights its historic wharf cellars and Museum Speelklok. Other regional activities include the Peizer Jaarmarkt and various sports and theater events in Noordenveld and Westerkwartier.

In France, the Lot department is hosting numerous village festivals including markets, pétanque tournaments, and concerts in towns such as Baladou, Belfort-du-Quercy, and Carnac-Rouffiac. Additionally, outdoor cinema screenings are planned in the region.
