Cultural and outdoor events scheduled in Touraine and Maine-et-Loire

Various cultural and outdoor activities are scheduled across the Touraine and Maine-et-Loire regions for the first weekend of October.

In Indre-et-Loire, the 10th anniversary of the Concerts d’Automne festival begins in Tours. The event features conductor Jordi Savall performing at Saint-Gatien Cathedral, alongside performances by the Ensemble Jacques Moderne and Ensemble Consonnance. Additionally, the cultural center La Parenthèse de Ballan-Miré is celebrating its 10th anniversary with workshops, magic shows, and a concert by the Neko Light Orchestra. In Chambray-lès-Tours, the 9th edition of Dimanche au Vert will offer biodiversity workshops and nature activities.

In Maine-et-Loire, local villages offer diverse outings including night hikes in Saint-Martin-du-Fouilloux and illuminated trails near the Château de Brissac. Other regional activities include bee festivals, organic farm discoveries, and autumn markets.
