Cultural and religious events held in Argentina and Dominican Republic

In San Juan, Argentina, the Chamber of Deputies presented the winning authors of the 2025 ‘San Juan Escribe’ literary contest. The event featured presentations from various categories, including children's literature, novels, and short stories. Due to the international connectivity of the event, some authors, such as Luz Azcona from Barcelona, participated via audiovisual messages.

In Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the Central Linaje Real Seventh-day Adventist Church completed a 76-hour continuous Bible reading marathon. The event, held under the theme ‘Hundreds of voices, one single Word’, involved thousands of participants both in person and through digital platforms. During the marathon, Bibles were presented to several figures, including President Luis Abinader and Xiomara Guante, director of the National Institute of Integral Attention to Early Childhood (INAIPI).
