Cultural and religious events held in Romania

Various cultural and religious events have taken place in Romania. At Nopcsa Castle in Săcel, the second edition of the Hunting Festival is scheduled for October 17, 2026. The event features hunting traditions, gastronomy, and educational activities for families, including culinary demonstrations, a hunting dog parade, and workshops on biodiversity and natural heritage involving institutions such as the ASTRA National Museum Complex and the UNESCO Hațeg Country International Geopark.

In Cluj-Napoca, the fourth edition of the “Cantările Cerului” musical event was held at the BT Arena on October 9 and 10, 2026. Organized by the “Agape” Christian Organization, the event drew over 7,000 young participants from 40 counties and the diaspora. The program focused on religious music and moral values, featuring the largest Orthodox youth choir in Romania. This edition also served a charitable purpose, raising funds for various humanitarian campaigns and social projects.
