Cultural and religious events scheduled for late August in Argentina

Several cultural and religious events are scheduled for late August in the Argentine provinces of La Pampa and Río Negro.

In Falucho, the 15th Encounter of Reservados and Riders will take place on August 29. Organized by the Centro Tradicionalista La Amistad, the event features a horseback ride from Alta Italia to Falucho, with more than 150 horses expected to participate. The festivities include a parade, a traditional dinner, and musical performances by local artists and dance groups.

In Chimpay, the 56th pilgrimage in honor of Blessed Ceferino Namuncurá will be held from August 28 to 30. This religious gathering commemorates the 140th anniversary of the birth of the Mapuche figure. Organized by the Diocese of Viedma and the Nuestra Señora de Luján parish, the event includes masses, vigils, and community discussions focused on human dignity and peace.
