Cultural and religious events scheduled in the Netherlands

Various community events are taking place in the Netherlands, including a Christian festival in Katwijk and a concert by the Watoto Children's Choir in Waalwijk.

In Katwijk, the Waves of Praise festival offers an alternative to Halloween. The event features a praise program with the band David’s Heart, a cake-baking competition, and various workshops such as djembé playing, wood carving, and krav maga. The afternoon program is free, while evening activities include a Christian dance festival for those aged 16 and older.

The Watoto Children's Choir from Uganda will perform a free concert at the Ambrosiuskerk in Waalwijk on October 28. The choir, which represents children supported by the Watoto organization, uses song and dance to share stories of hope despite difficult backgrounds. A collection will be held during the performance to support vulnerable children and women in Uganda.
