Cultural and social events scheduled in Cagliari

Cagliari will host two distinct cultural events focusing on personal memory and social advocacy.

On October 23, 2026, the theatrical production “Le voci dentro,” written and directed by Gianluca Medas, will be performed at the Casa del Quartiere di Is Mirrionis. Starring Chiara Porcu with music by Mauro Mibelli, the play explores a woman's journey through childhood memories, addressing themes of family secrets, hidden violence, and the struggle for recognition. The event is part of the “Quando soffia il vento” cultural series.

On October 27, the Exma venue will host a screening of the documentary “Lesbofòbia. Un documental i deu respostes” by Inés Tarradellas. This event, part of the 24th Sardinia Queer Film Expo (Uno Sguardo Nuovo), aims to address lesbianophobia and violence against lesbians through ten personal testimonies. The session will include a discussion with the director, producer, and representatives from the EuroCentralAsian Lesbian Community, alongside information on local anti-discrimination services.
