Cultural and social events scheduled in Sesto Fiorentino and Fiesole

Various cultural and social initiatives are scheduled across the Florence region in Italy. In Sesto Fiorentino, the “Etruschi a Sesto” review features several events centered on local archaeology. Activities include guided tours of the Montagnola Etruscan tumulus on September 19 and 20, a sunset concert by the Oblaka string quartet on September 9, and a visit to the Paolo Graziosi Prehistory Museum on September 12. Additionally, a book presentation regarding prehistory in Sesto Fiorentino is set for September 14, alongside educational sessions for children later in the month.

In Fiesole, AICS Solidarietà Firenze, in collaboration with the Club Moto d’Epoca Fiorentino and the Vespa Club of Sesto Fiorentino, is organizing an inclusion event on September 12. The initiative involves a seven-kilometer excursion from Fiesole to Olmo using vintage motorcycles and Vespas. The event is designed for youth with disabilities, offering them a chance to explore the local landscape and participate in guided tours at the Fattoria Orto dell’Olmo.
