Cultural and sporting events scheduled in Italy

Various regional events are set to take place in Italy this October. In Zevio, the 26th edition of the Radicchio d’Argento interregional competition will celebrate the Radicchio rosso di Verona IGP. The event, scheduled for October 10 at Ca’ Scapin 1935, aims to promote culinary tradition, sustainability, and food tourism. The program includes a roundtable discussion on the relationship between agriculture and territorial identity, as well as a gastronomic competition featuring young chefs.

In Trani, the Davis Cup trophy will be on display at the Sporting Club on October 15 and 16. This exhibition, facilitated by the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP), coincides with the 60th anniversary of the club's founding. The trophy, often referred to as ‘l’Insalatiera’, is a historic symbol of international tennis competition.
