Cultural and youth events highlight Polish-Lithuanian relations
A series of cultural and educational events are taking place to strengthen ties between Poland and Lithuania. In Elbląg, Poland, a free concert titled ‘Accordion in the Main Role’ will be held on October 28 at the State Music School. The performance will feature soloists from the Elbląg music school and the School of Fine Arts in Rudomin, Lithuania, alongside the Lithuanian school accordion orchestra directed by Bogdan Wojcinowicz.
In Vilnius, Lithuania, the final of the Polish Diaspora Youth Debate will take place on October 27 at the Seimas Conference Hall. Fourteen young Poles from Lithuania and Latvia will participate in an Oxford-style debate regarding whether the internet is a more effective tool for activating diaspora youth and building ties to Polish identity than traditional institutions. The project aims to develop communication skills, civic activity, and cooperation among young Poles in the region.
