Cultural anniversaries celebrated in Krasnystaw and Śrem

Various cultural milestones were celebrated in Poland, including the 50th anniversary of artist Bronisława Żuk’s creative work and the 80th anniversary of the Heliodor Święcicki Public Library in Śrem.

In Krasnystaw, an exhibition was held at the local library to honor Bronisława Żuk. The event included remarks from local officials, including representatives from the Mayor’s office, and featured a drawing where attendees won original paintings by the artist.

In Śrem, the Heliodor Święcicki Public Library marked its 80th anniversary with a ‘Birthday Promenade.’ The celebration featured a brass band, a wooden sculpture presented by Andrzej Włodarczyk, a book exchange, and various family-oriented activities such as workshops and an exhibition titled ‘Out of Use in Our Lifetime.’
