Cultural anniversaries marked by EDUNT and GAMA FAIR

The University of Tucumán's publishing house, EDUNT, is celebrating its 20th anniversary at the Virla Cultural Center. The commemoration includes an exhibition of the press's history through its various publications, collections, and illustrations. José Hugo Saab, Secretary General of the UNT, noted the importance of the press in fostering a plurality of ideas and its sustained growth. The current director, Soledad Martínez Zuccardi, highlighted that while EDUNT was formally established in 2006, it continues a publishing tradition at the university that dates back to 1914.

In Mexico, the GAMA FAIR is marking ten years of promoting contemporary graphics, drawing, and independent visual arts. Scheduled for September 19 and 20, 2026, at the Polyforum Siqueiros in Mexico City, the event will feature over one hundred creators. The fair aims to connect established authors with emerging talents and provides a platform for the sale of original works, including engravings and silkscreens. A central part of the celebration is an individual exhibition by artist Raúl Urias, who designed the commemorative graphic identity for this edition.
