Cultural associations in Serbia and Hungary launch new seasons

The Petőfi Sándor Hungarian Cultural Circle in Óbecs has opened membership applications for its 2026/2027 season. President Róbert Ricz stated that the association aims to provide community and cultural opportunities for all ages, with a particular focus on nurturing young talent. The organization offers various specialized groups, including folk song, folk dance, modern dance, painting, and handicrafts.

In Hungary, the Sopron Petőfi Theater hosted an Open Theater Day to mark the beginning of its new season. Led by acting artistic director Tibor Mészáros, the event featured backstage tours, costume displays, and public rehearsals. The program, themed ‘New paths, new stories,’ aimed to strengthen the connection between the theater and the community through activities such as storytelling for children and audience meet-and-greets.
