Cultural award ceremonies held in Sinagra and Tursi

Several cultural and commemorative events took place in Italy. In Sinagra, the XV edition of the “Fratelli Sturzo” prize was held at Palazzo Salleo. Organized by the “L’Elefantino” association in collaboration with the Municipality of Sinagra and the Pro Loco, the event commemorated the 67th anniversary of the death of Don Luigi Sturzo. The ceremony included a socio-literary discussion and awards presented to Franco D’Urbino, Marçel Pidala, Antonina Foti, and Franco Tumeo for their contributions to social and cultural promotion.

In Tursi, the fifth edition of the Faustino Somma Prize was held at Piazza della Legalità Antonino Scopelliti. The event aimed to honor the legacy of Faustino Somma, a prominent figure in Basilicata entrepreneurship and former mayor of Vaglio Basilicata. The program featured institutional participation and economic debates regarding the future of the Lucanian productive fabric, featuring speakers such as Francesco Somma, national vice president of Confindustria.
