Cultural celebrations announced in Palmela and Oliveira de Azeméis

Palmela will host the Municipal Folklore Meeting on September 6 at Largo de S. João. The event is part of the Festa das Vindimas 2026 programming, which runs from September 3 to 8. Organized by the Municipality of Palmela in collaboration with local folklore groups, the gathering aims to promote cultural exchange and preserve the region's ethnographic heritage through traditional music and dance.

In Oliveira de Azeméis, festivities are being planned for the transition to 2027. The New Year's Eve program includes musical performances by various DJs and local groups. A highlight of the celebration will be a performance by the Portuguese singer Toy at the Praça da Cidade on December 31, following a fireworks display.
