Cultural commemorations held in Balneário Camboriú and Itaboraí

In Balneário Camboriú, a cultural event was held at Praça Marli Soares to honor the late teacher Marli Soares. The ceremony, organized by the local government, included artistic presentations and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque. Officials noted that Soares, who rose from a cleaning assistant to a teacher and community leader, was being recognized for her significant contributions to the São Judas Tadeu neighborhood.

In Itaboraí, the Casa de Cultura Heloísa Alberto Torres (CCHAT) celebrated its 216th anniversary. To mark the occasion, a lecture titled ‘Patrimônio e Cultura: os Caminhos da Preservação’ was held, featuring representatives from the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN). The discussion focused on the preservation of historical sites, documentary collections, and the ongoing process of heritage listing to strengthen the community's connection to local history.
