Karol Nawrocki discusses cooperation with Donald Tusk
In a recent interview with YouTuber ‘OjWojtek’, Polish President Karol Nawrocki addressed the intense political polarization in Poland, noting that conflicts often extend into family relationships. He expressed concern over the scale of these divisions, though he maintained that political debate is a natural element of democracy.
Nawrocki confirmed that he maintains a professional relationship with Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Despite their fundamental political differences, he stated that they are in contact and have met multiple times to discuss essential matters. He revealed that both leaders have participated in unpublicized joint exercises, spending many hours working together on various scenarios to ensure effective cooperation during crisis situations.
Additionally, the President touched upon his personal life, mentioning his passion for sports. He noted that while he continues to train, he has moved away from boxing sparring sessions to avoid the risk of injury that could interfere with his official duties, as well as to avoid placing State Protection Service members in the awkward position of having to strike the head of state.
