Cultural developments in Italy: youth digital projects and new music release
In Ruvo di Puglia, the project ‘La città che parla’ (The Speaking City) is engaging local youth through digital creativity. Promoted by NoixVoi OdV as part of the ‘Ruvo Solidale Genera Bellezza’ program, the initiative combines digital skills with civic awareness. Upcoming activities include a Scratch programming workshop on October 17 for children aged 8 to 14 to design a video game inspired by the city, followed by a community treasure hunt on October 25.
In the music sphere, the band 24 Grana is releasing a new album titled ‘Bidonville’ on October 16 via La Canzonetta Records. The eleven-track album explores themes of social margins, urban peripheries, and human resilience in the face of social and emotional voids. The work draws comparisons between various urban realities, from Naples to Gaza, focusing on the capacity to find life and connection within difficult environments.
