Prague region hosts diverse cultural and community events

Various cultural and community events are taking place across the Czech Republic, particularly in the Prague region.

Prague Zoo is celebrating its 95th anniversary on September 28 with a 1930s-themed event featuring historical cars, swing music, and special animal feedings. In Prague 13, the Czech Mycological Society is hosting a mushroom exhibition at the town hall, while traditional St. Wenceslas celebrations are planned for Sluneční náměstí.

Charity initiatives include a bazaar at the Thomayer University Hospital's St. Wenceslas Chapel from October 1–3 to support psychosocial care, and a local workshop in Prague 9 to benefit the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital's cat shelter. Additionally, Prague 1 Mayor Terezie Radoměřská has scheduled informal community meetings in various cafes to discuss local life in the city center.
