Cultural events and heritage celebrations scheduled in France

Various cultural and community events are scheduled across different regions in France. In Touraine, the 6th edition of Caesarodunum will take place at the former Marmoutier Abbey, featuring Gallo-Roman camp reenactments, chivalry demonstrations, and archaeological guided tours. Other local activities include the Artannes Plage event in Indre, which features an 80s theme with concerts, and a horror film marathon at the Studio de Tours cinemas. Additionally, St-Pierre-des-Corps will host the Festival des Grands Arbres.

In L’Arbresle, the Amis du Vieil Arbresle will organize heritage days on September 19 and 20, 2026. The free program includes demonstrations of weaving and spinning, an exhibition on the history of Rhône banners, and stained glass workshops for children. Visitors can also explore the 15th-century stained glass in the local church and participate in theatrical tours of the Jacques Cœur house.
