Cultural events and internationalization discussions scheduled in Petrópolis

Petrópolis will host several cultural initiatives, including a performance of the contemporary dance show “Dança Boba” and a lecture on the internationalization of the arts.

Directed by choreographer Daniel Calvet, the “Dança Boba” production by Companhia Ateliê do Gesto will be presented at the Sesc Quitandinha Cultural Center on October 30. The performance utilizes improvisation, music, and lighting to create a unique experience during each show. The piece incorporates elements of literature, including readings from Clarice Lispector.

Additionally, the Teatro Imperial will host a free lecture on October 28 as part of the Festival Medio y Medio – Cápsula Rio de Janeiro, Volume 3. The session focuses on the integration and internationalization of artists, producers, and technicians within the show business industry. The goal is to strengthen connections between the Brazilian market and other Latin American countries, such as Uruguay and Argentina, facilitating cultural exchange and professional cooperation.
