Cultural events and literary presentations in Girona and Palma

In Girona, the City Council is highlighting the historical connection between local fairs and the city's sculptural landscape. Through the 'Fires en primera persona' activity, the administration is revisiting the legacy of renowned local sculptors such as Narcís Comadira, Isabel Oliva, Jordi Dalmau, and Mar Bosch. This initiative draws on the 'Escultures al carrer' campaign held between 1980 and 1991, which used fair periods to inaugurate public works and educate citizens about their authors and meanings.

In Palma, writer and geographer Climent Picornell presented his new book, ‘Nous Jardins d’Altri’, at Can Alcover.
