Cultural events and Michael Jackson tributes scheduled in Santo André and Barueri

Various cultural events and musical tributes are scheduled across the Santo André and Barueri regions. In Santo André, the Teatro Municipal Maestro Flavio Florence will host ‘O Rei Ainda Vive’, a 90-minute Michael Jackson tribute performed by Michael James. Additionally, the Teatro Conchita de Moraes will present ‘K-Pop Guerreiras’ on August 17, featuring music from the award-winning series. As part of the ‘Agosto Lilás’ awareness month for combating violence against women, the Cine Theatro de Variedades Carlos Gomes will screen the documentary ‘Filha da Índia’, which examines gender inequality and crimes against a medical student in New Delhi.

In Barueri, Shopping Tamboré will host a free Michael Jackson tribute as part of its ‘Cover Nights’ series. The performance, led by Christian Joseph, is scheduled for August 15 at the Taste venue and will feature hits such as ‘Billie Jean’ and ‘Thriller’. The event includes special promotions for customers registered in the shopping center's benefits program.
