Cultural events and traffic accident reported in Thy

The Thy region is hosting several cultural events this week. Activities include a musical film experience about Antonio Vivaldi at Agger BIO on Monday, followed by a performance of the Greek tragedy ‘Antigone’ at Limfjordsteatret. On Tuesday, Nationalpark Thy will host a guided nature walk, and Thisted Library will hold a book café focused on American politics and the US midterm elections.

In a separate incident, an 18-year-old man from Snedsted is in serious condition following a car accident in Hurup on Sunday morning. The vehicle reportedly struck between five and ten trees on Grurupvej before ending up in a residential garden. The individual was airlifted to Aarhus University Hospital; while his condition is serious, police report he is not immediately in life-threatening danger.
