Cultural events announced for Bengaluru airport and New Delhi K-pop festival
Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru will host a series of cultural programs from October 12 to 17 to celebrate the Mysuru Dasara festival. The event aims to introduce travelers to Karnataka’s diverse heritage through various art forms, including folk dances like Dollu Kunitha and Patta Kunitha, as well as classical music, Bharatanatyam, and Yakshagana. Performances will be held at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
In a separate cultural development, the Weverse Con Festival is set to make its international debut in India. Led by the global entertainment company HYBE, the two-day K-pop music festival will take place in New Delhi on March 27 and 28, 2027. This marks the first time the festival will be held outside of South Korea. The event, co-produced by BookMyShow, aims to bring online K-pop fans together for live performances and direct interactions with artists.
