Cultural events announced for Hradec Králové and Prague

The Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Králové will host three Friday evening events in September, featuring art exhibitions, music, and views of the historic city center. The series begins on September 11 with the closing of exhibitions by Jan Pražan and Erik Sikora, including guided tours and an installation by Jiří Valoch. Subsequent events include a pop-up street art and graffiti exhibition on September 18, and a Summer Closing DJ set on September 25. All events are free to the public.

In Prague, the ARCHA+ theatre will host the premiere of Witold Gombrowicz’s drama, Operetta, directed by Viktor Novák, on September 11. The production, a graduate project from DAMU, explores themes of social polarization and identity through the framework of a classical Viennese operetta. The play is scheduled to move to the DISK theatre on November 24 for a renewed run.
