Cultural events announced for La Valette and Perpignan

The Pathé cinema in La Valette-du-Var has announced a series of major film premieres for September 2026. The schedule includes director Guillaume Canet presenting a psychological thriller on September 4, Élie Semoun debuting the sixth installment of the Ducobu franchise on September 12, and Éric Judor presenting ‘Les Rois du Game’ on September 25. These events will feature direct exchanges between the filmmakers and the audience.

In Perpignan, the 38th edition of the Visa pour l’Image photojournalism festival is scheduled to run from August 29 to September 13, 2026. The event will feature 27 free exhibitions and over 160,000 euros in prizes. This edition coincides with the bicentenary of photography and will address the impact of artificial intelligence on journalism and the importance of verified data in the age of AI.
