Cultural events announced in Bistrița and Oradea

In Bistrița, author Veronica Petruț presented her new volume, ‘Ținutul de Dincolo de Culmi’, at the Palace of Culture. The work, which resulted from nine months of research, explores ancestral rites, seasonal cycles, and universal themes such as loss, rebirth, and human diversity through a combination of text and illustration.

The launch event featured musical accompaniment by members of TransylMania and remarks by Alexandru Pugna regarding the book's identity-building significance.

Meanwhile, the first edition of Bookfest is scheduled to take place in Oradea from November 5 to 8. Held at the Sion Neolog Synagogue, the event will feature various cultural personalities, including Gabriel Liiceanu, Armand Goșu, and Doina Ruști. The festival will host book launches, debates, and meetings, with access to events being free for the public.
