Cultural events announced in Ochavillo del Río and Cáceres

The Ochavillo del Río Flamenco Festival, also known as ‘Colón Flamenco’, will celebrate its 20th anniversary on November 28. The milestone coincides with the 20th anniversary of the Peña Flamenca de Ochavillo del Río. The upcoming edition features performers including Antonio Reyes, Anabel Valencia, and Miguel de Tena, with guitar accompaniment by Patrocinio Hijo, Nono Reyes, and Curro Vargas. The festival's promotional poster includes a tribute to poet Federico García Lorca, marking 90 years since his death.

In Cáceres, the fourth edition of ‘Canciones en su tinta’ is scheduled for November 4 at the Sala Malinque. This cultural initiative combines music and poetry. The upcoming event will feature Zenet, Chus García, Antonia Cerrato, and Duende Josele. The concert is free to the public, with tickets available for collection at the Palacio de la Isla.
