Cultural events feature new book releases and theater in Croatia and Germany

Recent cultural events in Croatia and Germany have highlighted new literary and theatrical works. In Vugrovec, Croatia, writer and painter Štefica Koši Jakopović promoted her new book, ‘Dah prošlosti’ (Breath of the Past). Published by Pozor, the work draws inspiration from the life stories of workers the author encountered during her career in social services.

In Karlsfeld, Germany, a cultural evening featured a performance of ‘Fešta’ by Zagreb’s Teatar EXIT, a comedy exploring marriage and relationships. The event was followed by a presentation of Željko Musić Ćile’s book, ‘Dan kad te stigne prošlost’ (The Day the Past Catches You), which evokes nostalgia for the 1980s and settings in Brela.
