Cultural events feature Novak Novaković monograph and Milutin Obradović exhibition

A new monograph titled ‘Novak Novak: Što ja volim pozorište… ali ne u svojoj kući’, compiled by Biljana Bošnjak Draganović, will be presented on September 8 at the RTS Club in Belgrade. Published by RTS Izdavaštvo, the book provides an intimate portrait of Novak Novaković, a prominent television author and screenwriter from the former Yugoslavia, while documenting the early development of Belgrade Television.

The work includes autobiographical manuscripts covering his career from 1957 to 1972 and features personal anecdotes regarding his collaborations with cultural figures and his experiences with heart surgery in Switzerland. Novaković began his journalism career in 1948 and served as an editor for Belgrade Television’s humor programs until his retirement.

In Montenegro, academic painter Milutin Obradović will present his exhibition ‘OBIČAN MALECKI SAN’ at the Cetinje Cultural Center on September 3, 2026. The exhibition, opened by actor Slobodan Marunović, features 16 oil paintings created between 2016 and 2026. The collection focuses heavily on the motif of horses, representing strength and care, and serves as a retrospective of the artist's last decade of work.
