Cultural events focus on religious and historical themes in Trento and Mantova

Various cultural events are taking place in Italy, focusing on religious themes and historical traditions. In Trento, the 29th edition of the Religion Today Film Festival has commenced at Piazza Fiera. Centered around the “Tenda di Abramo” (Tent of Abraham), the festival explores the relationship between ethics, appearance, and fashion under the theme “L’abito fa il monaco.” The jury is presided over by renowned costume designer Massimo Cantini Parrini.

In Mantova, the 23rd edition of the “Ebraismo al sesto giorno” cultural cycle is beginning its autumn program. A featured lecture by Alessia Fontanella will examine 18th-century Jewish marriage traditions within the Mantova ghetto, focusing on dowries, family strategies, and the social dynamics of the era. The program includes subsequent events such as literary discussions, musical performances, and historical lectures scheduled through November.
