Cultural events held in Agios Nikolaos and Trikala

Agios Nikolaos hosted the Dance World Cup qualifiers, welcoming 179 young dancers from Greece and Cyprus. The event, which saw participation double compared to the previous year, took place from October 23 to 25. Due to weather conditions, competitions were held in the indoor space at the Agios Nikolaos Marina. The dancers performed various styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and traditional dances, before a panel of three judges.

In Trikala, the Mixed Choir of the Kranioti Association of Larissa, ‘I Xirokrania’, performed at the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Municipal Choir of Trikala. The performance was part of the 1st International Comedy Film Festival. The choir, directed by maestro Konstantinos Matis, presented a repertoire of Greek and international compositions to acclaim.
